Vector Project

I feel like the strongest part of my piece ia the face because the way i placed the shapes to fill the face and to where you can seeall the dark areas and how it actually looks like a 3d object and not flat.
I think the part of the visual that can be worked on is the shirt because it kinda looks sloppy since i was in a rush to finish, and also i feel like the background could be different since it was also kinda thrown in at the last second, these two things can be improved by frist going into more detail on the shirt to where you can see the folds, and for the background i would use a color blend that compliments the rest of the visual.
The tools i used for my work are the line tool, and the shades, i used these tools by first oulining the different general areas and then later going in again and made each shape one by one coloring them as i went along.
easy? Well thats a good question i guess if i was to say what was easy i would say would be the background since the rest was kinda tedious.
The only thing that was really difficult about this was how tedious it was.
I guess i domonstrated the goals by going along with the idea of the project and only using shapes to contour the face and make it look 3d.
If i could do this assignment again i would change the background since it was rushed, but that about it since im actually really proud of how it came out especially since i didnt expect it to come out this good.
i would rate my effort on this project at a 9 since for the most part i tried really hard to get it just right and to my liking.

Polaroid

I feel like the strongest part of this is the contrast of the polaroid and the background. the part i should have worked on is the polaroid itself. i used the polygon tool mainly and i used the text tool. i used the polygon tool to get the right selections and i used the text tool to get my quote written in. i think the part that was easy was how it was really straight-foward. what was difficult was coming up with the background. if i could do this again i would change the picture i used for the polaroid. if i could rate my effort i would rate it a 6 because i didnt work to hard on it even though i wish i had.

Anime Me

The strongest part of this is probably the contrast between the gradiant background and the image itself. i feel like the part that needs to be worked on is the clothing, and what i should do to improve on it is shade better and get the right composition of colors. i used the paint bucket tool, and the dodge and burn tools. i used these tools by first using the paint bucket to fill in the color then going back in with the dodge and burn to lighten and darken certain areas to add a shaded effect. i think the easy part was drawing it before i scanned it into the computer. i think the hardest part was the tracing since most of the lines are curved or very small. if i could do this again i would probably use a different pose or different clothing design. i think on a scale of 1-10 my effort was probably a 9, because i tried really hard to get the colors and design to the way i imagined it.
